My Design Philosophy

Design is both a visual and emotional journey for me. While it's important for my spaces to be visually stunning, they must also be comfortable and livable. I believe that everyone who lives in or visits your home should feel at ease and thrive in the environment. My goal is to help you achieve this balance.

About Me

My design journey began in NYC at Pratt Institute, where I studied design. After graduating, I spent 15 years in Brooklyn, immersing myself in various creative fields. During this time, I founded a globally recognized jewelry business and became deeply involved in the art and design community through my network of friends and colleagues.

Curated by Thea is a natural extension of my lifelong passion for interiors, color, design, thrifting, and organization. It brings together all facets of my design experience to offer a comprehensive and personalized service for my clients.

Thoughtful Design

I believe a home should be designed for everyone who lives in it. I approach each room with the goal of making you, your children, your spouse, and even your pets feel truly at home—without compromising on beautiful design.

I utilize clever storage solutions, multifunctional furniture, and a highly specialized design flow to bring spaces to life.

Color

I thrive on creating spaces that use color to make you feel both cozy and inspired.

Color is a powerful tool, but it’s often overlooked or can feel overwhelming to choose. I’m here to guide you through the process.

Local Art

Helping you connect with artists in the NC area and beyond.

Heirloom Pieces & Budget Finds

I love great design, and I understand that everyone has a different budget. My goal is to help you curate pieces that make your home unique while staying within your budget.

I’ll assist you in sourcing from local artists, finding thrifted and second-hand antiques, as well as selecting beautiful pieces from stores like Target and West Elm.

Life is about balance, and design should be too.
